Information About the City of Ylitornio

Ylitornio is a town of Finland with a population of around three hundred thousand. It is one of the largest cities of Finnish Lapland. The town is also located in the middle of two large rivers; River Jotun and River Vantaa. River Jotun flows through the middle of town and passes through the city and its suburbs. The River Vantaa is another river, which flows past the centre of town.

The town has two major districts; Central Ylitornio and South Ylitornio. The Northern part of the city is the residential part and the Southern part of town is mostly commercial. The northern part of the town has a majority of flats and apartments and the South part is primarily the business districts.

The Central part of the city is the home to many universities and the University of Helsinki is located here. The main shopping area of Ylitornio includes many department stores as well as a number of malls. Shopping here is quite good all year round.

The Central part of Ylitornio also houses the Central Business District. The Central Business District is the heart of the city. The area is mainly used by many employees and business owners and it is where the majority of businesses are located.

The southern part of the town of Ylitornio consists of a number of suburbs, some of which are rural and others are urban. Many of the suburbs are very different in appearance and character from each other. Some of these suburbs have excellent natural beauty and beautiful scenery.

The airport is one of the most important parts of the city. There is also the Ylitornio airport which is serviced by several international flights daily. This airport is also the headquarters of the Helsinki International Airport, where many flights to other countries' land. There are also several smaller airports in Ylitornio, which are mainly serviced by international flights. The central part of town is served by a railway line and this railway line takes you to the downtown area of the city.

One of the main streets of Ylitornio is the street which is named after the most famous writer in the world, Leo Tolstoi. This street is also known as Vilhalaamainen or Vilhakainen, because it passes by the homes of Vilhalaamainen's authors. Another street in Ylitornio is named after its main sponsor, the financier, Mikko Myrsky. Juhaniemi is another street name that is very similar in appearance.

The city centre of Ylitornio is very busy and it is also the main hub of the business districts. This is also where many office buildings and stores are located.
